Dear Clients,
First, I apologize for the lack of updates on this blog since Saturday when the server was down. Due to the timing of this incident, access to our system was limited. Sometime on Saturday evening, our database server suffered a malfunction that caused some websites to become inaccessible. When this server was restored, a data corruption error caused several key database tables to not work correctly. We have been working constantly this week to restore full functionality of your website.
Your website and data should now be fully accessible. I thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked through this unexpected event. We are continuing to monitor the situation in case any other problems arise. Our support desk has a higher than normal number of support requests due to this situation so response times may be longer than normal.

Service will be reduced from June 20 - June 29 while we take a brief summer break. Basic services will continue to be taken care of including purchases, renewals, basic support, and emergency technical support. Advanced support queries may not be responded to until we resume business operations on Monday, June 30.

New Features
- Ability to purchase upgrades. Initial options are new domain names, online store, or increased disk space.
- Disk space monitoring utility (see your title bar while logged in).
- Ability to pull in a game schedule from a parent mySportSite website. If your league uses mySportSite, let us know and we can link your sites. Then, automatically have your game schedule update when the league updates their schedule and results.
- Games Behind (GB) team statistics now available.
Bug Fixes
- Game Import/Export CSV files now work interchangeably. Additionally, game schedules can be UPDATED via an exported CSV file.
- You can now show more than one static news article on your homepage.
- End Times are put in for games when you export to iCal formats. This should fix problems with Blackberrys and other portable devices.
- Several minor issues that resulted from the server move last month.
Since we moved servers this past weekend, several bugs have popped up. We’ve worked quickly to resolve them and we believe that most bugs that did not previously exist have now been fixed. These include, but are not limited to:

This past weekend, every client was moved to the new server. For most clients, this was a seamless process. If mySportSite Inc. owns your domain name, we took care of everything.
If you own your domain name, please remember to do one of the following:
1) If you use our nameservers, please change them to:
Primary: ns1.mysportsite.com
Secondary: ns2.mysportsite.com
2) If you point your A record to us, please change it to:
A Record: 67.222.128.44
Along with the server move, several bugs were introduced into your website. We have worked quickly to resolve the vast majority of these, but if you encounter anything that appears to not function correctly, or at all, please do not hesitate to let us know!
Moving to this new server was required to maintain a high level of uptime and consistent service as our cilent base grows.
mySportSite Inc. has grown incredibly fast over the past year. As a result, we are hitting the limits of our current server resources. To mitigate this situation, we are preparing a new, distributed server setup that will scale nicely as we continue to grow. Development efforts have been focused on this new server and we are close to being ready to transfer clients over.
If mySportSite manages your domain name, this transition will be transparent to you for the most part. We will take care of moving your data and updating your domain name for you. There may be a brief time during which the login page of your website is disabled to prevent data from becoming unsynchronized but we expect this to be a transient period if any (less than 1 hour).
If you manage your domain name, additional instructions will be sent to you in the coming weeks. If you currently use ns1.tiltedpixel.com and ns2.tiltedpixel.com for your nameservers, these will be changing to ns1.mysportsite.com and ns2.mysportsite.com. If you use your own nameservers and simply point your A record to our server, your A record IP address will change. Do not make any changes until we contact you with further instructions.
